Problem is that the vet told us to try and not let him do any jumping as he is just feeling better cause of the pain meds, not because he has healed yet. Between the pain meds, anti inflammatory, and mussel relaxants he is feeling no pain! Darn dog!

The first sign that not all was well was Bob not wanting to eat this morning. Bob can’t eat fast enough at any meal of the day, but he would take a piece up and drop it. Not a good sign. He didn’t want to go potty and was not doing well with the stairs. The trip to Dr. Joe, our vet, showed Bob had a pinched nerve in his back. He is now on pain killers, mussel relaxants, and an anti-inflammatory. He seems to be doing better tonight and hopefully this is a short term problem.

I give you Mr. Bob, the best Christmas present my fiance (Debie) could have ever given me! Bob is going on four years old now, my little puppy isn’t so little anymore. He was a little devil Pug in the beginning, but now he wouldn’t even recognize himself, he’s totally calm and easy going; verging on push-over, especially with his brother Eddie. He just wants to be rubbed, held and to play tug-of-war with his ropes.

Yes, you read that correctly, ropes as in plural, more than one rope as he has and has had many. Ropes are by far his farvorite toy and he’s always dragging one to our feet to play with. If he’s not playing with his rope he can usually be found sleeping in one of our multiple dog beds, on the back of the couch, in our bed or on the boys chaise; they’ve claimed the chaise as their own.

Bob is also very afraid of water, hates bath time and runs when the garden hose is pulled out. Not to mention hates the cold stuff, poor guy stands around in the winter snow so long looking for a spot to do his business that his feet freeze on him; but he also won’t wear clothes or boots…

So that’s Mr. Bob in a nutshell … I’m sure I missed a bunch, but thats what this here blog is for and just a note, he isn’t camera shy so expect many, MANY pictures of our lovely boy.
